A Message of Gratitude
To the voters of San Diego County: thank you for placing your faith in our campaign and in the values we share. While there are still votes left to count, it is clear that with more than 540,000 votes recorded, this outcome is settled. I am deeply humbled by the trust you have placed in me. I feel the weight of this responsibility, and will strive daily to make you proud.
I am especially grateful to the Honorable Dan Goldstein for entrusting me with the chance to continue his important work. Being tapped to run for his judicial seat has been an ultimate honor. I am also deeply thankful for the support and mentorship of District Attorney Summer Stephan, a role model whose guidance, encouragement, and example have shaped this journey in countless ways. To the over 100 judges who supported my candidacy, my colleagues in the legal community, members of law enforcement who daily protect and serve, and to and the many community members who gave their time, talents and treasure, I will forever cherish you standing behind my desire to continue in public service.

Tracy Prior
Tracy Prior is a proven prosecutor and award-winning attorney with nearly three decades of experience dedicated to protecting families and strengthening community safety.
As Chief Deputy District Attorney in the San Diego District Attorney's Office, she is a demonstrated executive-level leader, overseeing multiple divisions of trial attorneys and staff and possessing broad expertise in complex legal and public safety issues. She is an experienced litigator, having tried legally complex jury trials involving double murder, rape, domestic violence, elder abuse, child abuse and internet crimes against children. Tracy also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the San Diego County Family Justice Centers, a network of one-stop wrap-around resource hubs for victims of abuse and trauma in collaboration with over 150 community based agencies.
Tracy will bring extensive legal, collaborative, and public safety experience to the bench. She will continue and extend her demonstrated ethical pursuit of justice to all who appear before her.
